Loss of a Valued Friend and Member

Dear Fellow Club Members,

It is with great sorrow that I inform you of the death of one of our club members, John Branch. John passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 after collapsing at the club flying field. John, a member of the Osceola Flyers for several years, served as our chief flight instructor and mentor to many of the club's new pilots.

John's enthusiasm and dedication to the instruction of our new members are just one of the many traits that we shall miss. His sense of humor, willingness to teach and friendship will forever be remembered.

We will forward any funeral arrangements as soon as they become available to us.
